Here we are back in Springfield, Missouri. The little one is Molly Cate, Heidi's new niece. We hope everyone is having a great time.

Every week (at least once a week) Heidi and I make pizza with our friends. It's really quite a production. Sometimes there will be five people or more working in the kitchen rolling out dough, putting on the sauce, and applying the toppings. Last night we made pizza over at Nick and Janna's apartment. We had "Pizza & Pinochle Night" and invited several other pinochle players over. We made six large pizzas with a variety of toppings, including pork sausage, pepperoni, sauteed onions, black olives, sun dried tomatoes, and reindeer burger. Above: Heidi grating cheese. Below: Heidi and me rolling out the dough. There was plenty of pizza to go around, and others brought dessert. Yum! Below: After the pizza, we split up into groups for pinochle, girls at one table and guys at the other. We never established an overall champion, but we sure had a lot of fun!
